Beer and Your Diet Plan
Is the Sonoma Diet the Best for Beer Drinkers?
Let's face it, we all would like to drink as much beer as we want while keeping our weight under control.
If you are trying to diet while still being able to drink your favorite brew, there is a solution. It's called the Sonoma Diet!
The Sonoma diet uses quality foods like nuts, grains and vegetables while maintaining portion control with the size of your plate. And where does the beer come in??
The key to driking beer while on this plan is also portion control. Use a small glass, usually a 6 oz. one works best. You will pour 3 glasses per 12 oz. bottle of beer.
This helps to trick your mind into thinking you are consuming more than you actually are. NEVER drink from the bottle. Not that many beer lovers do. The Sonoma diet
is perfect for the Beer lover that's concerned with nutrition, dieting and weight loss.
Is Beer allowed while on the Atkins Diet Plan?
NO!!! Beer is all carbs and alcohol. When drinking any alcohol the body converts the alcohol to sugar which raises the insulin level in your body.
This in turn causes the body to crave carbohydrates and more sugars. The Atkins diet plan is based on NO
carbs and eating proteins. If you are looking to lose weight while still drinking beer, this is not the best weight loss plan to try. Atkins is often a quick fix
for not eating healthy and often leads to more weight gain in the long run.
Losing weight while still enjoying your favorite homebrew can be done. Keys are portion control and picking a diet plan like the Sonoma diet!
